Chapter Two: Sunday Morning Delusion
And the Evil at Work in the Church Today
Sunday morning Christians exchange worship and repentance for fantastic lighting displays and extravagant stage productions. Repentance is often overlooked, and worship becomes eerily similar to the average secular music concert. Without repentance as the core of worship, without recognizing why Christians bring their worship to God, the Sunday morning Christian lacks the understanding to worship the Almighty, all-knowing, omnipresent creator of all. It is a simple question but worth answering; why do you worship God?

Christian imposters lead elaborate worship productions without Holy Spirit; this is common. Imposters lead the unspiritual congregation to feel good regardless of their spiritual state. Christians do not voice their concerns about the lack of spirituality within the worship service. They grab a pair of earplugs and hope for the best. Over time, Christians become proponents of magnificent stage productions. They, too, enjoy the Sunday morning production despite its lukewarm effect. They do not know why they are worshiping.

Sadly, Sunday morning worship often lacks biblical messaging, as demonstrated in biblically historical examples of worship. The modern worship trend is to hire the most talented musicians the leadership can find, even if they lack spiritual anointing. It is common for non-Christians to serve as members of the worship team. Many have never pursued Christ's calling.
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.
